Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park™ at Birchwood Acres

Camping in New York – Explore the area and the beauty of the Catskill Mountains The area around Jellystone Park abounds in natural beauty.  Many things to do in our area relate to nature and the environment.  Guests camping in New York for 2-3 days will find plenty to do within our park, and may not wish to go anywhere!  Other guests, staying 5 days or a week, may want to dedicate one or two days to explore the Catskill Mountain area.  Here is some information to guide you:

A Woodstock-era museum is set to open in 2008. It is a world-class entertainment venue for the whole family.

County Fairs
Several fairs, including the Little Worlds' Fair in Sullivan County, take place at different times throughout the summer.  We keep information on these fairs and other special off-site events in a guide book across from the main desk in our Ranger Station.
